Douglas Maura, Sr., Bishop

Bishop Douglas Maura Sr. is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship Church(GSCFC) in Hernando County FL. He has a heart to teach God’s people in simplicity and power. His God ordained assignment is to minister to the whole man, spirit, soul, body, with emphasis on Grace, Faith, Finances, and Fellowship.

Bishop Maura’s success in life is attributed to him for standing on Mark 11:24. His relationship with his wife Pastor Mary Maura and their three children Douglas JR.,Michael Maura, and Steven Maura are an example and a blessing.

Co-Pastor, Mary E. Maura

Co- Pastor Mary E Maura, is the wife of Bishop Douglas Maura Pastor and Founder of Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship Church in Hernando County.

Devoted to the vision of the ministry she assists her husband with a variety of duties to assure that his God-given mandate is carried out. She has the same emphasis in ministering as her husband and pastor, with emphasis on Grace, Faith, Finances, and Fellowship. She is the Founder of Good Samaritan Women In Action: passionately encouraging women to support and fulfill the purpose of God in their lives. Her teaching inspire and challenge women to develop a strong relationship with God in their lives.

The Maura’s have committed to the parental oversight of three sons: Douglas Maura Jr. and wife Chaundrea Maura, Michael Maura, and Steven Maura. The Maura’s are very proud of their grandchildren T’Keyah Norton and Husband Torey Norton, Sarah Kyler, Marchae Kyler, Kayla Maura, Toriana Maura, Darrion Kyler, Janiah Seabrook, Aaliyah Maura. They all have been marked for ministry.

Associate Pastor Jimmie Leonard Sr.

Associate Pastor Jimmie Leonard Sr. is married to Linda for thirty-four years. We have three children. He serves as a right hand (executive assistant) to the Senior Pastor / Co-Pastor and assist in carrying out the ministry at Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship Church. In addition, his role and responsibilities involve assuming the pastoral role in the Senior Pastor’s and Co-Pastor absence; in-reach through building relationships with members while ministering to their spiritual needs and obtaining help for their physical needs when needed; and outreach to assimilate newcomers and visitors into the body of the church.

Linda L. Leonard, Evangelist / Church Bookkeeper Supervisor

Evangelist Linda L. Leonard serves as Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship Church (GSCFC) Bookkeeper Supervisor, ensuring completion of all financial transactions, keeping accurate financial records, and generating timely reports, while being responsive to the Church’s needs and reflecting GSCFC’s values. In addition, she serves as a right hand (assistant women leader) to the Co-pastor. Her role and responsibilities involve assuming the women leader role in the Co-Pastor absence and encourage ideas and plans that maximize women’s contribution to the mission of the church. Evangelist Leonard assist in developing women church agendas, moderating discussion, and facilitating group cohesion through personal sharing, prayer, and fellowship.
